I started a new project... I'm trying to re-create some plastic parts. I want to build a clock out of old pinball score reels and I will use some Gottlieb Decagon Units. Too bad, all my units have bad score reels, so I decided to make them on my own. When I went to university, construction was done with pen and paper... So I started to learn 3DCAD. I'm using "FreeCAD", and it's big fun! I'm nearly finished, just the cam on the cylinder for the "9" and "0" contacts is still giving me some headache. But "no pain, no gain"! I installed my first version in an actual pinball to see, if the mechanism is working. And it does! I hope to have the cam issue solved soon. If someone is interested, I can share the .stl files when ready. It's currently a 2 piece design, since I want nice surfaces and don't wanna use supports during printing.
