Error Generated on DMDext FizX Code

@jack7749 keeps getting errors on all tables that have the DMDext FizX Code on both FizX 3.2 and 3.3. I believe he has BAM 373 installed, Launch_DMDExt set to false and tables without FizX play OK. Jack is from France and I know Europe has some different versions of Windows so I asked Popotte if he has been getting the errors but he said no. ...So it must be something else. I am reposting his problem to post it in the correct location. He has posted questions about it in these threads:

For anyone that is updating a table from a previous version of FizX to version 3.3, there is a change that is easy to miss on the code of the slingshots. You need to replace "xBAM.Ball.HitSpeed" used in version 3.2 with "'xBAM.Ball.Speed" which is the code used in version 3.3.

PinEvent tables do not launch DMDExt, so it has nothing to do with dmdext itself (regarding Blade Runner).

Regarding LaunchDMDext that is included with the AIO Example table code.... that is JLou's addition, and he has a post detailing what is needed to use that function. (do NOT enable it unless this is done, or you will get errors, as was detailed in the AIO Example code and Tutorial).

Based on the pictures alone it looks like you are not using the required FP video settings as detailed in every PinEvent table's install instructions.

Be sure you installed the latest 2.2 version of FP and BAM Essentials AIO package (be sure the zip file is not blocked by Windows before installing!). You MUST follow my Install Guide that is included, in order.

The important part is making sure Windows Defender is not blocking anything in the entire FuturePinball folder. If this is not done, then you will get errors.

Be sure you are running FPLoader.exe in the BAM folder. You may need to Run as Administrator "once". (should only be needed once).

Run a New Table, check your BAM menu (~ or Q). Under Plugins, check iCOM and be sure its set to SAFE.

Pretty sure it'll solve your issues. If not, I'm also pretty sure you failed to to one step somewhere.

Out of this, I can only think the antivirus is acting up so, disable it for 15m while you try but because something might've been blocked already, reboot, disable the AV you have and also exclude FP and tables directories from any type of scanning. Then reinstall the table and try again.

I am glad you got it working.

You can switch back and forth from the new and old styles. To switch, open the BAM menu and arrow down to "Plugins" and press enter. Arrow down to "plugin:" and press the right arrow key until you the high score option. Changing to "Yes" enables the new version, "No" uses the old version.

This is how each press of the right arrow key works on BAM v1.5-373. There is no other way to operate it. The only other thing I can suggest is to delete the fpRam file for your table in this folder:

C:\Games\Future Pinball\fpRAM

I just thought of something else. You may not have the plugin installed. Check to see if you have these 2 files:

C:\Games\Future Pinball\BAM\plugins\PinballHighScore.db
C:\Games\Future Pinball\BAM\plugins\PinballHighScore.dll

If you don't have them, download the following file and replace the plugins folder with the one in the zip.

J'ai tout essayé de vos solutions (suppression Fpram, remis les plugins) mais rien a changé
Aie je n'ai pas le menu 2 qui affiche les high scores (j'ai les menus 1, 3 ,4 mais pas le 2) étonnant
Je reste avec l'ancien menu

There is a problem with using the old high score screen. FP produces a high score overflow error if the score exceeds 2 billion points. Table developers will sometimes add a BAM code that extends high score overflow to 922 trillion points but it requires using the hew high score screen. It is not too difficult to exceed 2 billion points on tables like "Attack From Mars" that have high scores.

Do you have a pinball cabinet? If you do, the front end software could be causing the problem. The only other thing I can think of is to reinstall BAM which you have already done so it probably won't help.
