If you have noticed, we have a another new Category here at Pinball Nirvana, a forum board and resources for front ends files. If you have been paying attention, there has been a few files loaded up for Pinball Emporium with more to come. These are the images/videos needed for a table for the frontend to use.

We will of course support Pinup Popper, especially for FP as the Baller frontend is basically on a vpx site so there will be very little support there if at all. People are more than welcome to create their own resources and can upload them up here or if they have individual image files (like logos or wheels) you can use our Media Section.

But also, one of the things we want to do here at PN is start a list of important resources from here and around the web. This is very important considering the loss of VPinball.com, and GoPinball is pretty much on it's death bed and could go any day now. So we are starting a master group of lists that point to key tutorials and guides, resources, and tutorials for not only frontends, but other very very important guides like doflinx, bam, vpx stuff and just some cool websites and videos. Actually, not "we" more like "I" as I seemed to have been volunteered for the job by someone else...

If any author who had a guide/tutorial/major resource item on vpinball or gopinball that wishes to repost it here at pn, thank you. We already have lost a lot of great stuff over the years, don't want to lose any more thank you.

Since I am doing up the list (lists actually because it's me after all) this thread is for you to help out by sharing links to guides/tutorials/youtube etc of useful and helpful resources that people can find in one place as opposed to scattered all over the damn place. We don't mind adding other websites links as well (WE don't play that game) because we feel all sites within this community have merit and value.

I have a few already, but lets do this properly and do a whole bunch, so here's a brief list...

Frontends - Pinball Emporium, Baller
BAM - guides and tutorials, weblinks etc
Other plugins - DOFlinx, pup pack, DMDext
Resources - things like models/textures/etc

Just fire in a resource link etc, I will add it to a master list, and sticky those lists to the forum pages so new (and old) members can find what they are looking for in one place.

For the software Milkshape3d you can find it at:

I know that you can do Milkshape3d files with the software BforArtists.de version 1.0.0, this with the Milkshape3d addon from Pinsimdb.org

Just create a post here at

That way you get the authors credit for the post, and people will be able to find it easily

I still love the idea of link lists like this. I remember Jon seeming to research the idea and coming back with 'this isn't best-practice for modern sites,' but I think in our case the shoe fits, and it's a win-win for everyone here and across the scene.

I don't know how much this helps, but I decided to check up on these two just now:

VPINBALL.COM
- I just double-checked something, and it looks like Archive.Org has indeed backed up a bunch of their content, even if the direct downloads are probably gone. Here's a nice vector-built example of the Who Dunnit suspect cards, which I'll duly back up in the media section. And here's their latest front page page archive.
- Google's caches are all but useless at this point for the site.

GOPINBALL.COM
- Archive seems to have them well-backed up, and since most useful content there is non-media (do I have that right?), that's good-enough, which means the guides can be pulled if necessary. Example:[FAQ section]

Edit: I was over-optimistic. Archive.Org's backups are a lot patchier than I first realised. For GoPinball in particular, I'd strongly recommend saving any useful, unique content now so that when the site finally dies for good, you'll be able to repost it here or at one of the other sites, giving credit where due.

Hi! I have a site for pinball creation software at https://pinballconstructionset.gameplayer.club - just set it up a few weeks ago but just found this excellent site to post about it on :)
I have checked "images" about the pinballconstructionset. It seem some type of software (looking the images) to do pinballs with the graphic quality of the time of the commodore 64 and vic 20.

With the software Futurepinball i believe it is much more, beside pinballconstructionset.

Here is the link to the free pdf guides i have build that can help you create Futurepinball games:
https://pinballnirvana.com/forums/threads/my-free-futurepinball-pdf-guides-that-i-created.21190/

Thank's for your suggestion, it is nice from you. 👍

thanks for the link!

Very cool MarisaG, put in hundreds of hours on PCS. I should mention that Bill Budge also did a sequel, called Virtual Pinball, for the Sega Genesis, a more enhanced version of PCS as well.

Was just playing it last week. Kind of a cool little thing.

Pinball Construction Set is like the ancestor of Future Pinball for 8 & 16 bit platforms

Can we start a BAM script guide and a FP scripting guide, where we can post sniplets and examples of code. or POSSSIBE vb commands for future pinball and bam, there is almost no information on the syntax or keywords.

Find your "Reflector dll extraction of Future pinball class, methods, types" post here....

I renamed the section to FP and BAM Coding so it covers both.

    @xenonph, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to interrupt
But I couldn't help but notice you from across the room
Your beauty shines like a star in the night
And I just had to come over and say hello

Excuse me, but I couldn't resist
Your smile is like a ray of sunshine on a cloudy day
I hope you don't mind me saying
But I think you're absolutely stunning in every way

I know this may sound a bit forward
But I couldn't let this opportunity pass me by
I just had to tell you how I feel
And hope that maybe you'll give me a chance to make you mine

Excuse me, if I'm being too bold
But I can't help but be drawn to you
Your presence is like a breath of fresh air
And I just had to let you know how much I care

So please forgive me if I'm being too forward
But I couldn't let this moment slip away
