I have an NVidia Geforce GTX 3050 and I can't seem to get VPX to play at resolutions higher than my monitor's native resolution. Visual Pinball X is the only game I have problems with in this way- Future Pinball allows me to play at 2880 X 1620 easily.

If you set your Windows Resolution to 2880 X 1620, then go into editor and click Preferences, Video/Graphics options, you will see the new resolution available.

I found a way to hack the registry values. It works, although if anything goes wrong (it's very picky), it reverts to the desktop resolution values. Apparrently, VPX has a habit of assuming whatever your resolution is when you install the game is the maximum resolution.

I recently upgrade from a Geforce 1650 Super to a used Geforce 3050 (probably was used for mining, but it was in good shape and works fine). DLDSR was a nice benfit, it's like 2x supersampling with almost no cost in frames-per-second. It's definitely improved the visuals, even if, in the gaming sphere the common wisdom would be this card isn't much of an upgrade, and hardly worth it, (It's also 4-5 faster for productivity applications that use tensor cores, which is why I purchase this card). It also works fine in Future Pinball and Pinball Arcade.
