I had grabbed some archives of some Greywolf and Popotte tables, like Old Chicago. Most of them have a 5.0 and 5.0a version. Any idea what the difference is? I thought at first it was a revision change, but it seems most have a 5.0 and 5.0a so I thought there might be a specific difference.

Is it Wolfcam?
The scripting for the custom score display (Electro-Mechanical Reels) is, I think, named "Wolfcam" and I think it had two versions. Wolfcam is a separate download add-on. So if that's correct, the different versioning is all about the Wolfcam display version that the table uses because they are not compatible. To use a "5.0a" table, you download/use (something like) Wolfcam version "5.0a" EDIT: I installed Wolfcams several years ago and I know there was a revision of it, but looking into it, all I see at irpinball is Wolfcams v.3, so "5.0a" could just be a table revision. I'm not sure. At irpinball it is listed under Downloads > Essential Files as "emCORE v4 and WolfCams v3" http://irpinball.org/ Last edited by sleepy; 08-21-2011 at 04:17 AM. |

Hey, nevermind the stuff above. It only refers to Visual Pinball.
I didn't realize this is the Future Pinball subforum. |
