Default Payout Problems

I am having a problem with my bingo. What is happening is when I shoot my balls, as long as they do not go into the ball return, I get a pay out. If any of the balls I shoot go into the ball return, the payout does not work, the extra ball does not work, and I cannot red button reset the machine, I have to power it off. Can someone point me in the right direction to fixing this problem please?

Thanks
Eric

Dirty or Bad wiring, contacts or relay?
The red button usually trips a relay.

Basically, my problem is when the ball goes into the ball return it is not registering the ball. Could I have an issue with the trough switches or the ball lift switches?

Understand I'm not a tech. Hopefully someone else may pass through here, but I would try cleaning any switches at the trough.

But the red button not working sounds like it's dirty or it's the wiring/contacts or a bad relay.
Just curious, what happens if you put the ball in the plunger lane manually? Does the ball produce a score when in play?

If too many target switches do not work, then I would guess it could be insufficient AC power or the power supply causing underpowered relays and solenoids maybe, but again, I'm only guessing.

Hi Eric,
I'm wondering if the timer unit is working properly.
Have you checked it (manually stepped it up and manually re-set it)??
