What a creative talent he was. I preferred his short stories to his longer work, although it was all good. I'll have to revisit his story collection that's on my bookshelf soon.

one of the most influentual SF authors of all time for me. "martian chronicles" was close to a bible on human nature IME.

pretty much every observation he made upon our foolish, foolish nature has been verified in spades and more spades.

we while growing up received 2 monthly paperbacks the size of a Readers Digest
I can't recall their titles but he had many of his shorts in those two publications
I think he wrote some fantastic literature along with the likes of Assimov and others
I will always remember being so mesmerized by his stories
