Default Mexican Baseball for VP X - UPDATED

A very basic tabletop skill machine in where two players play at the same time for a penny. Each player gets 5 balls to shoot. I have added a score counter and not much else, but this game is meant to be very basic.

Control snap speeds on each side by 1x to 10x.

Snap the balls using each side SHIFT KEYS.

I had trouble with scoring for the longest time; triggers did not work for this so I had to use gates. They work flawlessly unless a ball bounces on one and out of the area it was supposed to be in. Otherwise it works nicely.

Currently is being playtested by tiltjlp. It SHOULD be up on March 1st, 2011.

Below is a screenshot.

A very simple skill game for kids of all ages!

I know this one gave you fits. Since it's almost 2 AM on March 1st, I'll test it and get it out ASAP.

As Will said, a simple but fun game, which was easy and quick to test. You can grab it at the link below.

Thanks John! Hope folks like it.

This will be my last public release for a little while. I have too many WIP to be redrawn and fixed I also have to get Good Luck running right before it's done.

Thanks Neo.

Like I said, it's a very basic tabletop skill machine. Not much to it really, but it's fun.

Instead of walls for gates try using flippers! I have been using them starting just recently with the Space Adventure pin. they work far better than walls and if you slow them down a bit they look cool like real slow swinging gates on a real pin! Of course you can't get any type of image on them but if you color them gray they look kind of real

Default Mexican Baseball, 1947 Daval for VP X

Now updated to play in VP X. I used version 5.

Removed the EM reel for the coin and used a kicker with radius / image control.

Nothing else has changed via gameplay. The playfield screen are different with the update from VP 9 to X but nothing else has changed game wise.

Welcome back to VP.

Btw, I found a cool resource recently that you may already know about. It collects flyers for all kinds of machines going back to 1936. You can isolate by video, pinball or mechanical arcade game.

https://flyers.arcade-museum.com/?page=home

Some of the arcade games you can see there through the mid-to-late 70's are rather ingenious. They represent pretty much the last gasp of manufacturers trying to compete with video games, using mechanisms, relays and lighting tricks. Youtube had footage of every game I looked at, too.

Anyway, just thought I'd share in case you're interested.
