Default Mpu issues or something, please help.

Hey guys I need some help. I got this Mr. and Mrs Pacman with a as 2518-35 mpu that is suppose to be 100% working with new 2732 rom and has been jumped properly. The machine has a new Alteck solenoid/voltage regulator board. I can not get this mpu to flash at all, it is stuck green and I can't go. I also had another mpu board that originally came with it and I put in memory, cpu, rebuilt the corrosion area and still stuck led. What is going on.

Please and Thank You,

wannabefishguru

HOLY COW, I'm and idiot, Apparently the band U2 never showed up for the party cause they were parked in U1. In other words I put eprom U2 in U1 spot. But on the other hand my original board that I worked on still doesn't work.

Now I can't get the service switch to work, any ideas to bypass it to diagnose without it? like crossing wires?

the connector for the mpu board; the bottom right J connector for some reason is not making connecting with the pins on the board. I have rebuilt the connector and switched it over to molexes and gave the pins on the board a light sanding to clean them up but that doesn't make any connection. any help will be nice. I can bypass the connector and touch the resistor with a wire and it works fine and i have checked the wiring and it is good, even at the door connector. any ideas?

Sanding is not a good idea. Better to repin the board.
