Default Pinball at The Strong Museum, Images

The Strong Museum is also know as The National Museum of Play:

They also have the Toy Hall of Fame.

I've uploaded some images from the permanent Pinball Playfields exhibit during a recent visit in this album:

Strong also has special Pinball exhibits occasionally with over 200 machines!

The Strong museum in Rochester, New York, houses the largest and most comprehensive collection of historical materials related to play, including hundreds of original arcade and pinball machines and the Williams Pinball Playfield Design Collection. Guests explore the rich electronic game history while viewing artifacts and playing video and pinball games in The Strong’s eGameRevolution and Pinball Playfields exhibits. This timeline explores key moments in pinball history

If you ever have a chance to visit, I strongly recommend it, they also have hundreds of video games you can play and the toys are amazing.

sweet!

according to the site, they have about 250 handheld games. well, this online museum kind of goes hand-in-hand. you can see pics, info and sometimes internals of a lot of classic and rare handhelds:

I am really enjoying the photos of the EM games and like the reflection on the giant 'Silver Ball'(Pre-Stained Carpet?) That "Vagabond" Add-A-Ball game looks great, with a genuine Drop Target and metal? flippers. I see a high score feature in the back glass. I think it awarded an extra ball. Thing is...How could the machine keep track of the previous high score?
