Default 1948 Bally Ballerina

Kind of testing the waters on this sale. I have a 1948 Bally Ballerina for sale. I have owned this machine for 16-17 years. It's in fair condition in my opinion but I don't really know much about conditions for a machine this old and my lack of knowledge of pinball machines. It currently does not work due to my dad messing with a wire in the back. It just stopped working after he did this which was maybe 15 years ago. It has since then been in storage. The piece you insert the coin into has cracked and broke and has been missing the door for the coin box ever since we bought it. The piece of wood to hold the play field glass in place is with the machine but for some reason is inside the machine under the play field. You can get it out but my arms can't fit in to grab it. I forgot I had this machine up till a few weeks ago. I would love to keep it and get it working but I have other priorities I need to attend to. I don't know what the value of something like this would be worth so I am open to offers. Here are some pictures I took of it last week. Thank you for looking and for questions you can either reply or email me: Lholtz89@yahoo.com.

the flyer for this machine says that it has kicker bumpers controlled by player. because they are not called flippers does this machine qualify as a flipperless pin?

Well I'm not really too sure lol. It has flippers towards the top of the play field but I know what you mean. Like I said I don't really know too much about it or pinball machines in general.

This machine has to be one of the first flipper games. It has one flipper smack in the middle of the playfield, mounted vertically, pointing to 12 O'clock. It swings to 10 O'clock or 2 O'clock depending on which flipper button is pressed. Also after a second look it looks to have 2 flippers on upper playfield. Weirdly cool...
