Default Hot Shots drop targets

I have a Gottlieb "Hot Shots" that when resetting, 3 of the 4 drop target bank solenoids activate, resetting the targets, then deactivate. The 4th bank solenoid activates, resetting the targets, but then doesn't deactivate and has burnt out the transistor on the driver board. Have replaced the driver and control boards with no luck. Anyone with any ideas?

Does all the bank reset coils reset at the same time or do they fire off of individual transistors? Is there other components in that driver circuit that could checked maybe a cap or diode that might be bad?

They fire individually. Its looks like they're all driven off the control board through the driver board.

Gottlieb system 80b is known for its ground problems, especially on its power supply chasis. Check out ground mods online and correct whatever possible. One thing to try is to unsolder the drive wire to the bank reset coil in question and the drive wire to the other bank reset coil next to it, using 2 jumper wires connect the coil drive wires to the opposite coils to see if the problem moves.
