I have a 1982 Haunted House machine and I am having some sound problems. I can turn the machine on, and when I do I get the "extra ball" sound. (I think they have numbers, but I don't know it). Anyway, when I start the game I get that same sound whenever the ball hits anything, and it is also triggered by just hitting the flippers.
I have tried the self tests, and they all show nothing wrong. I have tried cleaning the points on the sound board contact, which also did nothing. If anyone knows how to fix this or maybe at least some ideas that would be great. |

Ok, nevermind. I just adjusted the wires and it works. Just a bad connection I guess.
