Meta-Games Unlimited is located on the busy East Sunshine Street, near US Highway 65 in Springfield, Missouri. It is near the intersection with Deeswood Ave. in a shopping strip located next to the Commerce Bank and Rapid Roberts Convenience Store.

Meta-Games UnlimitedApproaching from the east (and US-65 exit) it is located close to the highway overpass and can be entered by making a right-hand turn into the parking lot. Approaching from the west, it is best to turn left at the traffic light on Deeswood/Ingraham Mills (Meeks Lumber Co.) and then make a right turn behind the bank into the rear of the parking lot.

As you enter the building you will be in the retail area. A plethora of games and accessories are for sale in this area, such as Red PlanetLegacy and Risk – to name just a few.

Meta-Games’ retail sales areaWalk through the retail area and you will be able to enter the large games room located in the rear of the building. This area has many long tables for gamers to play card-driven role-playing games.

The R.P.G. areaAs you walk toward the rear, you will see vending machines on the left for drinks and snacks.

Gamer suppliesThe first pinball machine, The Lord of the Rings (Stern, 2003), is located next to the vending machines along the side wall.

The Lord of the RingsDirectly behind it is a World Cup Soccer (Bally, 1994) machine along that same wall.

World Cup SoccerThe majority of the pinball machines are located along the rear wall of the game room. There are another seven machines, and a change maker.

Seven more pinballsStarting left to right there is: Doctor Who (Bally, 1992), Metallica (Stern, 2013), Star Trek Pro (Stern, 2013), Hook (Data East, 1992), change maker, Judge Dredd (Bally, 1993), Harlem Globetrotters On Tour (Bally, 197, with Tron Legacy (Stern, 2011) ending at the right side wall.

This list of machines was accurate as of February 15th, 2016, however the machines are changed by the owners when deemed necessary. All of the games are owned by Queen City Pinball and are well maintained.

Queen City Pinball supplies the gamesThe oldest one, Harlem Globetrotters, is in excellent condition and only cost a quarter (25 cents) per game. It is a four player machine.

Harlem Globetrotters On TourDoctor WhoJudge DreddHook and World Cup Soccer are 50 cents per game. All others are 75 cents per game, with a discount of three games for $2.

Hours of operation are:
  • Monday – Thursday: 10am – 10pm
  • Friday: 10am – midnight
  • Saturday: 10am – 10pm
  • Sunday: noon – 8pm

The pinballs have moved from the rear of the games room and are now closer to the entrance.

The selection of games has also changed. There are twelve pinballs and they are:
  • Star Trek
  • Bram Stoker’s Dracula
  • Iron Man
  • World Cup Soccer
  • Star Wars (Stern)
  • Doctor Who
  • Aerosmith
  • AC/DC
  • WWE Royal Rumble
  • Fish Tales
  • Hang Glider

The new location for the pinballsThe prices for the games are as follows:
  • Hang Glider – 25˘
  • Dracula, World Cup Soccer &  WWE Rumble – 50˘
  • The rest are – 75˘ or 3 games for $2.00
