I have been trying to fix up a Williams Casanova and have hit a brick wall. When I coin it up the motor starts and the score reels reset. After the reels reset the the 10 point reel keeps incrementing and the motor keeps spinning.
All of the reels and steppers have been cleaned. The switches on them are also properly aligned. Also, I checked all the play field switches an none of them are closed. Does anyone have any ideas on what I should look into next? I hit the end of my limited em troubleshooting knowledge. |

After the machine resets, unplug the playfield jones plugs and see if the scoring continues. Check for scoring relays stuck on.

Thank you for the reply!
The game did reset properly after removing the play field. After looking over the play field switches I found a switch that I completely missed before ![]() ![]() |

Is the score motor running without the playfield hooked up after the game resets? If it does the problem should on the inside mech board. Relays to check are coin, reset, start, and scoring relays. Does the score motor still run on game over? The pinball database does not have any good pics of under playfield or mech board or a schematlc. Whatever of that you can post would be helpful. I like the bagatell shot at the end of each ball. Do you get a bagatell shot on last ball as well? Since this machine is a 2 player (maybe the only one to have this feature ) replay scoring and match awards makes for more complex wiring.
