Can't start any tables
I just downloaded VP version 911. I can load the tables but I can't play any of them. It won't respond to any keyboard inputs except the Esc button. In preferences - keys they respond but when I try to start a game, nothing happens. I have tried all keys. I'm using Windows 7. It worked fine with Windows XP. Can anyone help?

You mean Visual Pinball version 912? 912 is the one you want, else version 8.1 for older systems.
Right-Click on the Shortcut or the VPinball.exe and choose Run as Administrator. Are you getting any error messages? Is VPinMame installed? We'll get through this. It happens all the time.

And if you are seeing the "FACTORY SETTINGS RESTORED" message in the DMD, then press the top 7 key (on Williams/Bally tables).
If nothing happens, then press the F3 key for reset to Play Mode. What table are you having trouble with?
