Bally Pool Sharks Left 16 Digit Display. Certain Segments Always Lit Up

Hello fellow pinballians. I would greatly appreciate your help in solving a problem that I'm having with my Pool Sharks pinball machine. Everything works fine except the very bottom segment and top left segment on all of the digits of the left display are constantly lit up. I have replaced the ribbon cable that connects the 2 displays and then connects to the main board. I have also cleaned the main board under the battery box since there was some corrosion. I replaced IC U41 the 6821 that was directly under the battery box as well. If anyone knows what might cause this problem I would greatly appreciate your knowledge. I'm wondering if this means the display itself might have a defective component. Many thanks in advance for your help.

Your problem is going to be U6,U7,U10 or U11 on the display driver board. Educated guess is going to be U6.

$1.75 each here...At that price you could replace all 4 and be done with it.

Just wanted to say many thanks for your info on my display problem. I ordered all 4 ICs and will keep my fingers crossed that this solves the problem.
