A quick review, and please add your own observations, if any.
Barack Obama. Yeah. I voted for him, and as a smoker under his first term has been the most miserable 4 years of my life as such. He started off by raising the tax on roll your own tobacco by over 2000% to pay for UNRELATED CHILDREN'S STATE HEATH INSURANCE (CHIP), in violation of The Uniform Tax Clause of Our U.S. Constitution, after only three months in office in 2009 and then lied to everyone that he didn't raise anybody's taxes. A total miscreant who made a point of posing for the camera with a cigarette dangling from his lips during the first campaign. Totally bulshitting many of the 20% of the voters who smoke into voting for his ill manners. He went on to authorize the FDA to control tobacco products which resulted in experiments in Los Angeles throughout the year 2010 involving the manufacture of cigarettes and the ingredients used in them in order to 'discourage the habit' by deliberately adulterating the quality of the product, in violation of The 9th Amendment. I never had such miserable headaches. It was horrible, but then the experiments subsided, more or less. He then decided to violate The Export Clause by signing The PACT Act, which outlawed the mailing of out-of-State cigarette purchases in order to secure unwarranted and unjustly high State cigarette taxes at the local level, mainly by States which do not respect their smoking populace and who refuse to represent the products by and for The People. Recently he signed into law a transportation bill containing a boondoggle requiring a tax on roll your own machine shops. These are shops which have a make-your-own cigarette machine. He jacked the tax 2000%, same as in 2009. The Dude, he don't like Smokers. He waited four years to support Gay Marriage for others (not for me mind you) just so he could use it as a plus in his campaign portfolio. To Hell with The People and their Privacy, as long as it Makes You Look Good as A Candidate. I think the only reason Obama nailed Bin Laden is because George Bush was saving Bin Laden for "President John McCain". Or for "President Palin". And Obamacare, a crafty piece of shit which serves as Obama's cure for The Deficit as the government is short on Medicare/Medicaid financing due to blowing Trillions in Iraq. So we take the weight off of the government Medicare/Medicaid expense by being forced to buy insurance instead. The cost of medicine is sky high, and instead of investigating the reasons why that is so and what we might do to lower the costs for all, we instead pay the ransom 'to cure The Deficit'. It is certainly posed as the cure for The Deficit, which is why Judge Roberts called the penalty for not buying the insurance 'a tax'. A case of Budgetary Myopia. Suffice to say, I won't be voting for Obama this time. I don't give a damn how well he serves Foreign Policy. It's all about how well he respects The People and Our Constitution. He doesn't. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Mitt Romney. What can I say? What does he mean? A candidate who no longer spouts the GOP Talking Points exactly because they are probably his game plan once in office. Father of Romneycare which serves the template for Obamacare, but does not take a strong position because, obviously, the GOP would Love to Privatize Medicare/Medicaid by forcing We the People to pay for it ourselves. This then serves as both 'a workaround' to raise the taxes of 99% of us and an excuse Not to raise the taxes of the 1%. Besides, Romney, he looks like Obama in White Face. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Ron Paul. No, he's not a candidate, even though I voted for him last month as a write-in on my Democrat Ballot. I had to. My ballot only listed 'Barack Obama' as a candidate. The only things wrong with Ron Paul are that he hates Abortion and that he holds 'States Rights' above those of The People, mostly to outlaw Abortion at the State level, but I figured that he would be hamstrung by Roe vs. Wade (The Supreme Court Decision which legalized abortion) from doing anything about it, while his good points 'might prevail'. One week after voting for him, Ron Paul proved me wrong. The jerk threatened Veto unless the bills that he will consider signing contain an Anti-Abortion boondoggle. Fucking Prat. Curiously, Ron Paul respects smokers in his votes against the tobacco taxes and against The PACT Act. As a former Doctor, he is only concerned about 'pro-life'. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- I know that tobacco use is Not Popular, however, that is not the point. The point is that Our President Respects Our Constitution and We the People by the purpose and terms of Our Constitution. So, with that, uh-huh. Which Presidential Candidate do you hate the most? We in Europe have even worse leaders... our "president" Van Rompuy hasn't even been elected... he's just a talking head chosen by the Euro Mafia.... Barroso is simply a lying shitface.... also unelected.... Italian prime minister Monti was replaced by the bankers and our own Olli Rehn is a pathological liar.
Europe is in deep shit.... Nigel Farage puts it nicely. The Genius of Mutual Indebtedness - Nigel Farage - YouTube

except for the huge tobacco taxes I think Obama is a breath of fresh air for this country
we needed a break from the right wingers for a while anyhow as for cigarettes I have torn apart some of my gals and lo and behold you would be shocked to know just what is in them everything from sticks the width of toothpicks to what looks like dirt all wrapped up for your (cough cough) smoking pleasure now if only he could regulate just what goes into them then again look at hot dogs I bet they use the same filling as ciggies some of them sure as heck taste like it! sorry for going off subject that far... |

Voted option 4 because it doesn't matter...
...You ALWAYS Get A Politician! and.. … THE GOVERNMENT STILL GETS IN. Once elected whatever they promised or otherwise stated as policy is not binding they have your vote and no longer need adhere to any rhetoric they used to persuade you to vote for them, you can't take your vote back. Thus once elected, policy is usually dictated by those whom pay the most for their future prospects. |

Except for the tobacco issue, I'm all for Obama. Since I'm an adult, I can decide for myself if I choose to use tobacco, and in my situation, I choose pipe tobacco. The anti-fools have demonized tobacco, when the real, actual source of pollution and health problems are car, truck, and factory emissions. With Romney.we're very likely to have even more of our freedoms regulated, restricted, or banned. Besides, one of ther principles of the US is separation of state and church, and with Romney and the Tea Party bible thumpers that principle will be ignored.

Steve is right, but still sometimes there are people in politics you can hate more than others.
Though their promises mean are not binding, they know that and we should know that as well. I think it is usually their intent, what they want, but they do not have total control and often far from enough. I look as these statements as even when in the form of promises as stands, and what they will ask for. Romney will never be the president of the united states, even if elected. |

The socialist currently in office. Government is NOT the answer, it is the PROBLEM. "ObamaCare" - another code name for tax increase. DO NOT shove something down my throat I do NOT want or need.
I'll be honest - both choices are horrible. But.....I'm taking the lesser of two evils. If Romney wins, at least we'll have someone in charge who actually loves this country. If you work for a living, do the country a favor and get this a-hole out of office. |

As far as Obamacare (Romneycare) goes, does it look like maaybe the GOP are actually supporting it to stave off an official tax increase?
Why did Romney support it for Massachusetts? And No, I don't like the plan either, or the seriously messed up SCOTUS decision, that anything the government sticks us with is permissible as 'a tax'. Our government isn't supposed to exist unto itself. It's supposed to be A Republic of Inalienable Rights by and for The People, to each our own equally, while the so-called 'democracy' of voting is supposed to be limited to deciding the operations of Our government as the oversight to Protect Our Republic of Rights, not as Our Goddamn Boss, Overlord, Big Brother, Nanny, etc., but as Our Representatives to the exclusion of Third Party considerations. |

The two major parties stand on two differing platforms, but only as an affront. This is a very important aspect of the system. All of us have one side to blame, and one side to depend on. All but the intelligent people which is a controllable small number. To think that all of them honestly would fall in line of their respective platforms independently is what puts people in that majority of intelligence mentioned above which is the lower end of the scale. Moderate is a ridiculous term which anyone should be ashamed to associate with. By definition it's a lack of passion and in practice is a cowardly, but relative safe position. Independent is often a attempt to use a back door, as when damaged with respect to a party, but in true definition is what everyone would be, in absence of platform agenda, which is however not absent. The party system is ground floor of mind control, in, as said, is designed to make 1/2 happy and the other half optimistic. |

Obloser is a wolf in sheep's clothing. I hate to talk about politics, but after that piece of crap signed the NDAA on Janurary 1st I for one hope he goes down so HARD he shits his pants. Folks are finally waking up to satanic ways. I am too busy with college to even think evil thoughts like that garbage and his "bankster" cronies are. This country is falling apart like hell in a handbasket and many folks just doesn't see it. It's a real shame.
You can thank OBLOSER for the new bill to be passed allowing over 1 million illegals to now be legally allowed to stay in the country. This POS is truly abusing his power and I hope and pray this guy is thrown in a jail cell. This bum also allows his fed cronies/police to go into yards, farms and areas that sell or use organic milk, veggies, cheese, eggs and any other foods that are organic and has his fed buddies/the police tear the crap out of these places for the sole purpose of making everyone and anyone to buy from their local grocery store. What law tells folks they can't have these things and what gives the dumbass feds/police the right to destroy what the hell they want? Only under Obloser can this happen. Whenever I can, I always patronize these establihments for the "pure" food that they sell and it's 75% better for your health as well unlike what is sold at the supermarkets. Romney is a sack of -hit as well; he says one thing than says another, never making up his mind. Most folks (95%) don't even see any of this. It's truly a sad situation. As for Ron Paul, yes he CAN be elected; he just doesn't run around like Obloser and Romney with their heads up their asses. At least this man had the BALLS to pass "Audit The Fed" and now the feds (bankers and owners of the "fed") are crapping their pants HARD CORE. Last edited by druadic; 08-08-2012 at 12:54 AM. |

The federal reserve is pure evil. To kill everyone involved in running, setting up, and maintaining it would be a privileged and an honor. The Christian thing to do.
Government. There is no need for the executive branch, and like the pony express, the house should be nearly forgotten history at this point. The Government is amassing F.E.M.A. camps and this is for civil unrest. They are going to need those things. America needs a revolutionary war just as much as the French ever did. America boycotted the games back when Afghanistan was invaded and where are the athletes now. (Official Movie) THRIVE: What On Earth Will It Take? - YouTubeThe mars curiosity mission is cool, but it was named correctly. If it finds micro fossils, hell, even if it finds a martian skeleton, it will have no real impact on earth. These 'smartest' people are misguided in my opinion. If I had the say it would be 'take care of america then you will get the funds for a robot on mars', 'fix only the problems that america has caused in the world, and you will get funds to go beat off each other on mars' Colonization, which England and America are the main culprits has caused the problems I'm talking about. Nation building is America's biggest industry, but it is done in a purest of evil ways. The most patriotic thing Americans can do is a revolutionary war with not prisoners. The constitution calls for anarchy more than it calls for this system of government. Each article relates to anarchy much more than domination. |

Paul probably could not be elected though. The election system lacks the integrity for that. Even if he was, he is as foreign to the New World Order as the non American leaders that comply or die.

But the term "moderate" used to mean "live and let live" and "everything in moderation", as in "a moderate drinker or smoker".
I was also thinking back when the term "Liberal" meant "to be an Egalitarian; about Equal Rights". These days with the industrial and real estate complexes in full tilt, it's the neocons who support welfare as the cost of doing pick and choose business and it's the progs who support harassing the poor with drug testing and rehab and reams of paperwork, and as for the progs I think it's because the progs, like the neocons, are control freaks. Both sides sleep with each other. |

I think a good exercise would be to debate this. How far back would you have to go to site a president that wanted the office because he truly had a plan to make at least this country better and wanted to work on that. And who was the last one that truly had respect from both sides of the isle.
That either thing apply to you will have to skip quite a few in my opinion. You will be passing up good men like Carter and respected men like Reagon, but you can't stop there, if both apply. |

Those who are weak, lazy and those who just don't give a shit will all perish as they should. Here's an AMAZING video you must see Shockman; watch the entire thing. It's long but proves it's point. Is there a law to pay taxes? NOPE. This blew me away as this guy did his homework. Watch this = AMERICA: From Freedom To Fascism: AMERICA — From Freedom To Fascism (Full Length Documentary) - YouTubeShocking? Why? You'll see some folks in here that are fighting the "fed". You'll be shocked by what you see. I was. From 1912 to today there are no laws allowed to tax the people. Amazing what I didn't know! BY LAW the government and fed CANNOT tax the people. I'm sure our founding fathers are rolling in their graves right now and have been for years. Last edited by druadic; 08-08-2012 at 11:28 AM. |
