Its missing the driver board. Great.
Ill attach a shot from IPDB showing which board I am missing. It's also missing the back glass and art but luckily I have one in my collection already for some reason. I am thinking I want to replace the speaker covers/DMD plexi so it at least looks KIND OF like the production model. Any one have a lead on these? The cabinet is painted black only, kind of a bummer, but beggers cant be choosers in this scenario they pretty much gave it to me. I think I found the board at the pinball source, "GTB-MA1358". Any insight is much appreciated as always. ![]() ![]() |

So I broke down and bought the board from The Pinball Resource. Dude was NOT happy about me wanting it over nighted, but im impatient.

Plugged the new board in Friday night and the machine works great! I did a preliminary cleaning for the weekend party we were having and the machine played great all night.
The rubbers are shot, so I ordered a complete kit with all new rubber, new bulbs, new springs and new balls off ebay. I am going to do a more thorough cleaning and put all the new pieces on and the machine should be playing like new. |

Got about 1/2 way last night with pulling the machine apart. and replacing rubber/bulbs.
I noticed a high pitch noise coming out of the back box speakers and a low hum out of the lower cabinet speaker. Could this be a ground issue? Maybe something else? Any one have any idea? Also, the plastic rivets that hold down all the flashing light covers, do those come off easily or do I just need to break them and replace them? It looks like its pretty much impossible to replace the bulbs without getting those off.

every one is happy...for now. the sound issue is still bugging me though. when the graphics change on the screen the sound in the speakers in the backbox changes with the graphics. the pitch changes. the low hum in the bottom speaker just stays the same.

I've tracked the hi pitch whining sound to the DMD so its NOT the speakers in the backbox. Any idea how to make it stop?
