Time to say goodbye!

As some of you eventually already noticed at VPF.org at last, I've decided to to give up any activity in the pinball forums as far as possible. I will most probably only log in here and there anyway to get recent updates, but I don't intend to post anymore.

If you want to have or know anything from me from the last ~8 years (or more) at the pinball forums, please let me know. I'll try to provide.

About the gallery: I've already transfered all the necessary data/files/informations to Valamir Cleaver. He will hopefully continue the gallery autonomous and in my and everyones sense as promised.

Thank you all for your sympathy and for all you've done for pinball.

Sorry to hear you're giving up Yogi, I too have lost most of my desire to load VP, but I still like to read forum posts from longtime members such as yourself. I hope you change your mind and make an occasional post here a there to let us know you're alright. You have always been one of my favorites and it has been a pleasure to know you.

are you sure? i tried making up a test address in frankfurt and amazon replied with:

Frito-Lay Cheetos Crunchy, 4.25-Ounce Canisters (Pack of 12) cannot be shipped to the selected address.

Hey Nic, did you enter the test address under "international shipping" or under domestic?
The listings for international shipping claim to ship to Europe and, I think, to Germany.

hmm... i don't see any place to specifically mandate international shipping. but when i create a new shipping address, one of the fields is "country", in which i specified germany.

if that isn't the right place to enter it, then i don't know why they'd have that field, y'know?

I will continue to be around here, but I don't intend to post/participate much anymore.

I guess or know I finally lost the desire to load VP at all.

It's an silent occurrence of the last 1 1/2 - 2 years, although I tried to change that by different attempts. The last one was the started, but then canceled project to update the VPLauncher.dat. The project was too large just for me and maybe 1 or 2 other people willing to help. And common interests seemed to tend to 0.

There were different further ideas before or in between, but I didn't feel the urgent wish to pronounce them and I think that was right finally.

So or so I'm nearly sure that VP9 let me lose desire finally. All went too complicated. Yes, it's only my own problem, but it's only a try to explain the situation.

I guess my latest contribution was the gallery. Now it's given away because I lost interest to continue it further. I don't know what's the future plan with it. I only got the information, that the file transfer was successful. No further request, no personal reply, no information,
no thank. That's still some annoying, but understandable as well, because I tried to give it over in a hurry. It will be available until ~ end of next month, as my isp contract ends then.

My other latest 'contributions' were only misunderstandings and what else. They apparently only leed to conflicts and I don't want to continue that way. I'm generally peaceloving and I don't see any advantage, if I post further. Especially if people aren't willing to try to understand.

If there's an adequate opportunity to post in a non pinball related thread I guess I will post anyway. Depends on my capabilities to reply in my bad English. I'm still not willing to give up some friendships made through the pinball forums.
